These terms govern your use of arablawsworld.com and any purchase you make through it. By placing an order you accept them. We may update these terms from time to time; the version published on this page when you order is the one that applies to that order.
What you are buying
Each item in the catalogue is an English translation of a single legislative instrument, supplied as a PDF file. Each law is a distinct product: amendments, later versions and implementing regulations are separate instruments and, where we hold them, are sold separately. Nothing is supplied in hard copy.
The translations are reference material. They are not legal advice, no lawyer-client relationship is formed by buying or reading them, and the Arabic text remains the authoritative version of any law. We do not warrant that a translated law is still in force in the form translated; check the current position before relying on it.
Prices
Prices are shown and charged in US dollars and are all-inclusive: no handling fee or surcharge is added at checkout. Prices can change over time. The price that applies is the one shown in your cart when you pay.
Payment
All payments are processed by PayPal. You can pay from a PayPal account or, where PayPal offers it in your country, by debit or credit card through PayPal's checkout. We never see or store your card details. PayPal's own user agreement applies to the payment itself, and payment disputes are handled through PayPal's resolution centre.
We may decline or cancel an order, for example where a product was listed at an obviously wrong price or with incorrect product information because of an error on our side. If we cancel an order you have already paid for, we refund the full amount through PayPal.
Delivery
Once PayPal confirms payment, the files are emailed to the address on your PayPal account, attached to the order confirmation. Delivery is normally immediate. If an email has not arrived within a few hours, check your spam folder and then contact us with your PayPal transaction ID and we will resend the files.
Corrections and refunds
Because the products are digital files delivered immediately, sales are final once the files have been sent. If within 30 days of purchase you find a typographical error in a translation, tell us: we will correct and re-send the file or, if we cannot, refund the purchase. If you were sent the wrong file, we will send the right one.
Copyright and permitted use
The translations are our copyright work. You may use a purchased translation for browsing, research, interpretation and discussion, limited to non-commercial, educational and personal use. You may not resell, republish or redistribute a purchased file, in whole or in substantial part, on the web or otherwise. Where we find a translation republished without permission, we will ask the host and search engines to remove it and may take legal action.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, and the UAE courts have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
