Sultani Decree No. 67 of 2008 is Oman's Law on the Protection of Industrial Property Rights — the consolidation that brought patents, trademarks, industrial designs and related rights into one modern statute, enacted in the wake of Oman's WTO accession and its free trade agreement with the United States. It replaced the earlier scattered IP instruments, including the older trademarks law also catalogued on this site.
