Local Order No. 61 of 1991 sets out the rules of environment protection in the emirate of Dubai, enforced through Dubai Municipality. It predates the UAE federal environmental framework of 1999, and it remains the reference point for municipal requirements applying to industrial premises, waste handling and polluting activities within Dubai.
