UAE Prime Minister resolutions are instruments issued by the Prime Minister of the UAE in the capacity of head of the Council of Ministers. They are used to make appointments and decisions within the executive branch in matters where the Constitution or federal legislation confers authority on the Prime Minister rather than the Council collectively. The form is also used to formally close out cabinet decisions that are subject to further refinement by the head of government.
The resolutions translated here cover senior administrative appointments to federal authorities, designations of acting officials, internal restructurings of ministries, and decisions delegating specified powers to ministers and authority chairs. They sit below federal laws and federal decrees in the hierarchy of norms but are binding on the federal administration. For the Council of Ministers' collective output see UAE Cabinet Resolutions; for federal statutes see UAE laws in English.
